New "round abouts" in installed in La Jolla Blvd in connection with the Sea Haus development project will take some time for drivers to get used to. The yield for oncoming traffic, seemingly very unnatural around these parts but fitting to the European style and image of the development have some motorists confused on who has the right of way. It will be of benefit to residents in the Sun Gold Point and Birdrock areas, most notably residents and their visitors of Sea Haus itself, to make quick U-turns, have the flow of traffic continue and make ingress and egress all together more possible. It will be interesting, however, to see if during the drivers learning curve, there aren't a rise in insurance claims...
