Southern Exposure draws from MCASD’s permanent collection in a showcase of diversity and aesthetic innovation of contemporary art making in the region. With over 40 years of work by artists from LA to the Mexican border, the exhibition features subjects and techniques developed in response to the artists’ Southern California location.
