Another unbelievable weekend in La Jolla. Being a native San Diegan, I sometimes take for granted how incredible life is at the beach. It is when I am around friends from back East on weekends like this last that I realize just how well off we are. They marvel at how pefect everything can be. At their respective homes, it's time to pull the snow shovel out, make sure the tire chains are accessible and pull the winter coats out of the closet. All the while the temperature in La Jolla is hovering just below 80 degrees with a cool breeze and a virtually cloudless sky.
Great example. Take the Chargers game. Played in San Diego, the weather was perfect. Contrast that with the visiting teams weather back home- freezing! Simply waking up in Southern Califonia gives us one up on people elsewhere.
I'm happy to say that this trend will continue. The weather this week- 70's and partly cloudy.
