Torrey Pines State Park is the perfect 10 minute getaway. Located just North of the Torrey Pines Golf Course between La Jolla and Del Mar, the park offers 8 miles of incredible hiking trails, beautiful views, unspolied beaches and a look at what the San Diego coast would have looked like to early California settlers and the Kumeyaay people. The park encompasses 2,000 acres of wetlands, beaches and cliffs that remain on of the last homes of the Torrey pine.
The tree from which the park gets its name is one of the rarest species of pine in the world.
